A Beautiful Weekend for WABBLES

Good morning, everyone! Welcome back to wxornotBG. There’s no better time than this weekend to spend outdoors! Say hello to mostly sunny skies, but hot and humid conditions!

Get out and have fun today! (Giphy)

Another Day of High Temperatures

Today, there won’t be many clouds in the sky to offer any relief from the sun’s blazing rays. Don’t forget sunblock!

Take notes! (Giphy)

That miserable trend of high temperatures reaching the 90’s continues today, along with the right amount of moisture to make for muggy conditions. Although it isn’t likely, we can’t entirely rule out the possibility of a stray pop-up shower right before noon.

Thankfully, the worst of the mugginess will be in the early hours of the morning, as shown by the HRRR model (Pivotal Weather)

Be Mindful of Your Health

With little cloud coverage, the hot temperatures and humidity may become too much to handle. Please be cautious of the health risks that come with these conditions. Below, the National Weather Service tweeted out some tips on how to battle this threat.

Tropical Storm Cristobal Outlook

Shown below is the latest version of the National Hurricane Center’s (NHC) predictions of Cristobal’s path. We will not be impacted until Tuesday once it reaches the upper Midwest as a tropical depression. From this, there’s a chance for more active weather after Monday, though we will have more information when the time comes.

Cristobal’s predicted path, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC)

That’ll do it for today! Make it a good one! Don’t forget to follow us at @wxornotBG on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
