Welcome to the weekend, everyone! Hope everyone had a great week. It felt like we were reliving the same day over and over with the pop-up showers developing every afternoon, but that looks to change as cooler and sunny weather mark a beautiful weekend!
Cooler for Saturday
Earlier this week, our high temperatures reached 90°! That’s one of the hottest days we’ve had so far here in Bowling Green. We can expect a different story today, though, with highs only reaching the mid 70’s.
In addition to great feeling temperatures, skies will be clearing and staying clear too. Mostly sunny conditions are expected for today, so if you were holding off any yardwork, today is the day to do it!
With winds out of the north, this will help drop our dew point temperatures too, meaning it won’t feel as muggy. Thank goodness! Dry and cool conditions continue into the nighttime hours, with lows reaching the cool mid 50’s.
Sunny Conditions Continue
As we head into Sunday and Monday, we can expect similar conditions. The sunny weather will stick around and it won’t be feeling as muggy.
A high pressure system will be keeping clouds at bay on Sunday, so expect to see plenty of sunshine throughout the day! Temperatures also remain on the cooler side, with highs in the upper 70’s.
Monday will see more of the sunny conditions as the high pressure sticks around, and high temperatures will end up around average, which is about 82°. And with lower, drier dew points? Not a bad day at all!
Big Warm Up Coming
As we get into the midweek timeframe, models are predicting a big jump in temperatures. Right now, we’re forecasting highs around 90° for a few days! June is coming in with a punch! However, skies will remain clear, so we won’t have to worry about rain for a little while.
