Winds will be a bit breezy from the south at 10-15 mph helping us reach 83 degrees. Temperatures drop down to the low 60s Saturday night as we stay mostly clear across the area.

Storms Return Sunday

You didn’t think the nice weather was going to stick around, did you? A cold front approaching from the north will bring the potential for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday.

Sunday morning will be quite as the cold front will be north of us.

While the day progresses Sunday the cold front will sink south closer to WABBLES. Rain and thunderstorm chances will increase as the front approaches Sunday afternoon.

Cold front approaches Sunday with shower and thunderstorm chances increasing.

The SPC has placed us under a marginal risk for tomorrow. There is the chance for a few storms to produce gusty winds and/or large hail Sunday. The model data is having a tough time determining the severe threat for tomorrow. Some of the data does not have severe storms developing Sunday afternoon. While other models show a batch of strong to severe storms moving through mid-day Sunday. I would have to lean towards the idea that we could see a few strong storms tomorrow as this cold front moves through.

Sunday Severe Weather Outlook (SPC)

Temperatures Sunday will top out near 79 degrees with partly cloudy skies before the rain approaches. We drop down to 55 degrees Sunday night with continued rain chances.
