Good morning WABBLES and happy Monday! Who is ready to start and endure another week with me? It’s crazy that we are already halfway through March. As we begin this week, the forecast is calling for a very soggy week for WABBLES.

Soggy Start to the Week

Waking up and heading out the door for your morning commute, you can expect dry conditions as you hit the roadways. Temperatures will be cool, hovering right around 40 degrees. Thanks to an area of high pressure over the Côte-Nord region in eastern Quebec, the high pressure will usher in east-northeasterly winds keeping things cool.

During the afternoon hours, a weak disturbance will race through the region and spark off some light-to-moderate rain showers. Model guidance paints an area of 0.10 – 0.30 inches of rain across WABBLES.

Small Window To Dry Out

Moving into Tuesday, shower chances will stick around during the morning hours. A weak surge of moisture from the south and a weak cold front from the west will collide over the region, creating enough force to squeeze out some morning rain.

High pressure from the west quickly settles into the region, helping WABBLES dry out during the afternoon hours. Skies will be mostly cloudy for the remainder of the day with high temperatures topping out in the lower 60s.

High pressure sticks around for the first part of Wednesday keeping things dry, but the next storm system is right on our doorstep. Rain chances begin to increase during the evening hours as an initial wave of precipitation moves into the area.
