I thought it would be fitting to insert a Gif of my beloved Minnesota Twins since the start of Spring Training is this weekend. Any Major League Baseball fans out there? Well, I’m sure you are as excited as I am for this upcoming season.

Pleasant Conditions Continue

Waking up and heading out the door for your morning commute, you can expect cool and crisp conditions with clear skies. The clear skies overhead allow temperatures to drop a lot faster. Temperatures to start the day bottom out in the upper teens to lower 20s, BRRRRR!

Temperatures rebound during the late morning to early afternoon hours. High temperatures top out around the 40-degree mark under clear skies.

High pressure at the surface will continue to move over the area heading into Saturday. With strong high pressure over the area, the high pressure will suppress any cloud formation which will result in another clear, blue sky day.

Winds at the surface will be light, but they will be out of the southwest which will help warm the temperatures. High temperatures for Saturday will top out right around 50 degrees. Make sure to take advantage of the abundant sunshine and mild temperatures and get out of the house.

Pleasant conditions continue to finish out the weekend on Sunday with highs topping out in the middle 50s. Clouds will gradually increase throughout the day out ahead of an approaching storm system.

Looking Ahead

6-10 Day Temperature Outlook (CPC/Pivotal Weather)

The Climate Prediction Center has issued their latest 6-10 Day Temperature Outlook, which covers from February 26 to March 3. The outlook features a strong probability of seeing much cooler temperatures than normal for late February and early March.

That wraps up today’s forecast. I hope you have a great Friday! Make sure to look for the Afternoon Video Update on Facebook and the Afternoon Weather Story on Twitter, only at @wxornotBG.
