Slow Rise in Temperatures This Weekend

Welcome to Thursday, everyone! Glad you could stop by this morning. As January comes to a close, it has definitely been a rather quiet month. Above average temperatures have been the main story, and that looks to continue into February as we get a slow rise in temperatures this weekend.

Peeks of Sunshine Today

After a stretch of some cloudy days, we finally get a break and could see the sun return today every now and then. Stubborn clouds will still hang around, but a high pressure will help break them up a bit. Therefore, we can expect partly to mostly cloudy skies today.

Additionally, temperatures will begin their slow trek upwards starting today. We will start off near average in the mid 40’s for our Thursday, and with light winds, should make for a decent winter day. Lows tonight don’t drop far, only into the upper 30’s.

Temps Keep Rising

On Friday the typical, dreary January weather returns for the last day of the month. Clouds thicken back up and some showers are possible throughout the WABBLES region.

However, temperatures will start to feel more mild as they climb into the upper 40’s during the day. After a cool down into the upper 30’s Friday night, we jump back up to near 50° on Saturday!

Those slightly above average temperatures will accompany partly cloudy skies during the day Saturday, giving us some sunshine for the weekend and first day of February.

Pleasant Weather Comes Next Week

Our slow rise in temperatures this weekend will make way for some downright pleasant conditions for the start of next week. Temperatures keep rising well above average, and sunshine could make its appearance for a few days as well.
