Quiet Across WABBLES to Start the Week

Good morning, Folks and happy Monday!! Who’s ready to tackle another with me? Remember, this is our last full week until we move into the week of Thanksgiving!!

The forecast calls for quiet conditions across the WABBLES region to start the workweek. It won’t last long as rain returns to the forecast heading into Thursday and Friday.

Cool but Quiet Monday

As you all head out the door for your morning commute, I would keep a jacket handy as temperatures will be in the low-to-middle 30s under mostly cloudy skies. Skies will remain cloudy throughout the day as a disturbance in the atmosphere swings across the Ohio River Valley.

The disturbance will only bring with it some patchy areas of drizzle. Temperatures during the afternoon hours won’t have a chance to rebound a whole lot with an abundance of cloud cover overhead, keeping temps. in the middle 40s. This evening would be a great evening to head down to the SoKY Marketplace Pavilion in downtown Bowling Green and hit the ice. A perfect evening to do some ice skating!!

Tuesday & Wednesday

As we transition on into Tuesday morning, cloud cover will stick around as another weak disturbance in the atmosphere swings across the region. Just like the disturbance we experience today, this one will not have a lot of moisture to work with. Precipitation chances stay on the light side, can’t rule out some patchy drizzle.

With cloud cover moving out of the area by the afternoon hours, temperatures will have a brief window before sunset to rise back into the middle 50s.

Alright, folks, Wednesday will be the day to make some outdoor plans. Skies will be mostly clear throughout the day with temperatures during the afternoon rising into the low 60s.
