Not a bad day on our Friday with mostly sunny skies…the only complaint is that was, perhaps, a touch chilly. We will likely stay a touch below average for our high temperatures, but otherwise it should be an enjoyable dry and mostly sunny start to the weekend.
Sunshine For Your Saturday
High pressure still rules the day as we start the weekend proper.
However, it might be rather chilly for the early risers as temperatures near 30º will greet us as we wake up and head out the door (going to, say, maybe, a certain local weather workshop?). Sunshine should help up warm nicely, however.
Highs should top out in the upper 40s to near 50º with light north breezes making a windbreaker or hoodie essential out there. Once the sun goes down, temperatures should tumble back to near 25º with those clear skies.
Clouds on the Increase Sunday
A quick disturbance advancing from the west will make a run at us during the day on Sunday. The atmosphere is pretty dry…
This means that cloud cover will be on the increase as winds shift to the west, but we won’t see much (if any) rain from this one.
A mostly cloudy afternoon will only allow us to finish up close to 50º with light westerly breezes. Cloud cover sticks with us through the overnight, meaning we’ll only get to about 35º for a low tomorrow night.
Similar Story Monday
We’re going to stay under those mostly cloudy skies as we start the work week as well…how fitting.
Clouds sticking around give us another day with an afternoon high right around 50º or so. We’ll gradually decrease clouds overnight and through the morning hours on Tuesday, but lows stay right around 38º for Monday night.
Early Look at Next Week
After a dry start, soggy weather looks to return to the region by the latter half of the week, with rain chances returning as a front nears us around Thursday/Friday. On the other hand, temperatures continue to climb to near 60º by week’s end…until the front drops us back into the 50s.
