It’s not like the hot weather hasn’t been well-advertised. The consistent forecast continues as high pressure stays in control…and this means hot weather stays to start the long weekend.
Sweltering Saturday
Not much difference during the day on Saturday than what we saw on Friday.
That very same high pressure will continue exerting dominance on the region, as highs remain right around 90º or so under mostly sunny skies.
Highs top out once again between 90º and 95º under those ever-prevalent mostly sunny skies. A good day to, maybe head out to the Farmer’s Market early in the day. Should you have to stay out, remember the heat tips. Light, loose-fitting clothing, frequent breaks for water, plentiful sunscreen and remember to check on the elderly or pets. Lows fall to near 70º overnight.
Still Sweltering for Sunday…With a Storm Chance
A small chance for relief arrives as we head toward the midway point of the Memorial Day weekend, with the possibility of a few afternoon thunderstorms developing.
Otherwise, temperatures remain as they have been under partly sunny skies. Highs top out around 91º. Any thunderstorm activity ceases after sunset with lows in the upper 60s to near 70º under mostly sunny skies.
Scorcher of a Holiday
It will be yet another hot one on Monday as we honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
No rain chances in sight for Memorial Day itself. If you’re grilling outside, you may want to find an alternate location found in the shade, because scorching temperatures will not remain at bay.
Highs once again will be on the warm side of 90º as high pressure stubbornly stays over the area. Overnight lows…like a broken record, only fall to near 70º.
Hot Start, Relief in Sight
Temperatures remain toasty for Tuesday, with the (by-now) typical upper 90s highs, near 70º-lows feeling quite repetitive, especially toward the end of the week.
We’ll try to work in a bit of relief as we head towards Wednesday as shower and storm chances re-enter the picture mid-to-late next week. Highs look to take a tumble too, closer toward seasonal averages.
