The Fall Feel is Just About Here

After a dreary couple of days, things are well on their way to being pleasant and fall-like as a cold front is about to sweep the rain away and bring back the sunshine and that means the fall feel is just about here.

Wednesday Weather Woes?

We’re not completely done with the rain quite yet, however.

The cold front will be moving through during the morning hours, and this means one last shot of some rain.

Models are hinting at chances being best in the morning, so while we may have to deal with a soggy morning commute, things will improve throughout the day.

While we’ll have to contend with clouds during the afternoon, the rain should be pushing east of the region. This will lead to much cooler conditions as we head into tomorrow night.

We’ll likely warm up through the morning hours before the front moves in. Highs will be right around the 72-73º range during the late morning before falling into the upper 60s during the afternoon as northwesterly flow filters cooler air into the region.

Lows at night look to tumble into the mid-50s as skies begin to slowly clear.

Cooler for Thursday

The real start of our appropriately fall-like weather will be on Thursday as high pressure begins to build in, however, clouds will continue to linger.

Northwesterly winds and mostly cloudy skies will keep things cool as highs only approach the upper-60s to near 70º. Definitely a day where you’ll want a light jacket handy, especially in the morning.

Clouds begin to clear tomorrow night as lows will fall to around 55º once again.

A Sunny Fall Friday

Things stay appropriately autumnal to close out the week, only this time, sunshine will enter the picture.

Northwesterly flow will be more than established and that means the cooler weather is here to stay…at least through the weekend. Highs look to shape up closer to the mid-70s with the abundant sunshine, a great afternoon to enjoy the great outdoors. May want to grab a jacket as you head out for any high school football games, however, as we’ll drop into the 60s during the evening before bottoming out near 55º again Friday night.
