Good Wednesday morning everyone! Hope everyone has had a great start to the work week, and is now able to look forward to the weekend. Clouds and coolish temps remain through Friday, and that will make for relatively pleasant weather!
Wednesday Wet Weather
The entire day of Wednesday looks like it could feature clouds and scattered rain showers.
That is a bit misleading, as it sounds like a washout is expected. I promise: a washout isn’t expected. We are just in the vicinity of a weakening trough of low pressure that is meandering.
This will keep clouds and rain chances present around the region. While these showers will be scattered in nature, partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies are expected to remain for much of the day.
Because of this, only expect highs in the low to mid 80s (83ºF-85ºF).
A bit More Sun Thursday and Friday
By Thursday, the pesky trough that has been giving us cloud cover and daily rain chances (isolated rain showers/storms, but still) will begin to weaken.
While this is true, cloud cover is still expected on Thursday. We’ll likely see a mix of sun and clouds, and maybe an isolated shower or two, but not like the past couple days.
Highs are expected to be in the mid 80s (85ºF-86ºF), as more sun will poke out between the clouds. Friday looks much better in terms of sunshine, though!
This trough will have pretty much puttered out to our west, and it looks like it’ll leave us with quite the nice day across the region. Cloud cover won’t be very prevalent, and highs look to be in the mid and upper 80s (87ºF-88ºF).
Saturday looks warmer than Friday, with highs approaching 90ºF again, with clouds returning by Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Well, that is all I have folks! Have a wonderful Wednesday, and be sure to follow @wxornotBG for the latest information!
