Hey folks, a very weak “cold” front will push through our region tonight which will give us isolated showers today, lower humidity to finish week.
Isolated Showers Possible Today
Ahead of the cold front some isolated showers could pop up today. Any showers today will not be severe and are unlikely to even have thunder.
Meanwhile, temperatures and the humidity will remain high one more day with actual temperatures in the low 90’s, but feels like temperatures will go a few degrees warmer. Your umbrella could see double duty as rain and sun protection today.
Weak Cold Front Lowers Humidity
Today’s weak “cold” front will mainly knock the humidity down as a high pressure system moves above us. Highs will still reach the upper 80’s tomorrow and Friday, but at least these days will feel like the upper 80’s instead of 100 degrees.
Expect each morning to start with temperatures near 70. By Friday night, moisture will increase return the atmosphere to the usual summer humidity soup typical for Kentucky.
Hot and Humid then Stormy Weekend
Saturday will be warm and humidity with a high in the lower 90’s and the chance for an isolated pop-up thundershower in the afternoon.
Sunday and Monday stay just as hot, but rain looks even more likely, especially in the afternoons.
That’s all I have for today; follow @wxornotbg for the latest updates.
