Highs Approach 60 This Afternoon
After our temperatures start in the 30’s this morning, they will rise to approach 60 this afternoon. The high pressure system giving us nice conditions this weekend will be moved out by a weak cold front on Monday leaving us a clear today, showery tomorrow.
Expect cloudless skies and winds to be from the east today at 5-10 mph. You should keep this in mind if you have long hair or want to play an outdoor sport, especially this afternoon.
Showers Tomorrow
Prepare for annoying off and on showers Monday afternoon into the evening. Due to low humidity near the ground any rain that falls before noon on Monday will evaporate before hitting the ground. At least we will have a dry Monday morning commute!
Temperatures will rise from the 30’s Monday morning to the mid 50’s in the early afternoon. Then the temps will fall back to near 40 Tuesday morning behind the weak cold front. Rain totals will vary greatly, but could range from a tenth to a quarter of an inch.
Dry Tuesday
Tuesday will be dry, and it will have a high in the mid 50’s. This is like the fifth straight days with a high in the 50’s reminding me of a weather movie…
Mid to Late Week Cool-Down
Come Wednesday our temperatures will be attacked by an arctic penguin, and fall backwards to below average for several days. There may even be a chance of snow flurries during the morning hours of the late weekdays. Then again, maybe the Groundhog Day GFS model is right, and the highs will hit the 50 again and again…
Either way we will keep an eye on it for you. Make sure to follow our live weather feed @wxornotbg for the latest.
