Rainy Saturday
A rainy, mild weekend is in store for the region, especially today. The radar is already lit up with abundant showers to the west of the region. The rain will also limit temperatures into the low to mid 40s, resulting in a cold rain.
Rain should gradually exit the region late this afternoon and this evening. Fog and occasional mist will develop in its absence as lows drop into the mid 30s.
Warmer Sunday
Low level southwest flow will develop on Sunday. This will lead to significantly warmer temperatures as highs approach the 60° mark under partly cloudy skies.
Rain will eventually move back into the region Sunday evening and into the overnight hours. Temperatures will only drop a few degrees into the mid 50s for overnight lows.
Very Warm Early Next Week
Southwest flow will continue to intensify on Monday. This will lead to a clearing out of rain in the morning hours and temperatures warming into the low 70s despite mostly cloudy skies.
Lows Monday night will remain very mild, in the mid 60s, thanks to southwest flow and mostly cloudy skies. Highs on Tuesday will likely end up in the upper 70s!
