Winter Weather Advisory Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 5 PM to 11 PM. The advisory includes Warren, Edmonson, Simpson, Allen, and Barren Counties. The advisory does not include Butler or Logan Counties.

Rain should begin to transition to snow around 4 to 5 PM this evening. Snow will continue until 9 PM. Accumulations up to an inch are expected.

Some of the snow will be heavy around the evening commute, thus travel conditions may worsen quickly after 5 PM due to reducing visibility. This doesn’t look like a milk and bread event, just be sure to slow down this evening and watch for slick spots Friday morning as lows drop to around 19°.
