Slight Warm up Ahead of More Cold

Today and Tomorrow? Pretty Nice!

First of all, I am making this post exclusive to Christmas Vacation gifs this morning. That is my favorite Christmas movie, and I will use only Christmas Vacation related gifs today.

Secondly, today and tomorrow don’t look half bad! We have set up in southwesterly flow ahead of our next system forecast to propagate through the region tomorrow night.

Southwesterly flow will help to keep us a bit warmer than otherwise tomorrow. h/t pivotalweather.com

With the combination of mostly sunny skies and southwesterly flow today, we should see highs jump into the mid 40s, which won’t be terrible considering the sunshine!

Clouds will be on the increase through tomorrow afternoon, but southwesterly flow will help us to warm into the low and mid 50s for highs across the region!

Yep, it Gets Cold Again

You didn’t think that we would maintain the relatively warm conditions, did you? If you did, you were wrong.

We will have more cold spill into the region behind the front associated with tomorrow’s weak system. At this time, the air looks to be too dry to support any precip tomorrow night.

Drier than this turkey. h/t giphy.com

After tomorrow? Tuesday gets cold, with partly to mostly cloudy skies across the region. Expect highs only in the upper 30s.

The rest of the week looks cold as well, before a possible warm up/cool down situations comes our way again next weekend. We are still looking on the horizon for anything interesting to come our way weather wise.

The way Clark felt in this scene is how I feel when I look in the long range and see no signs of significant snowfall. h/t giphy.com

Nothing is there yet, unfortunately.
