The Headlines
The headline is the continuance of a complete and utter lack of exciting weather to talk about. Not that I’m complaining because the weather does feel great out there. And hey, makes my job easier, right? But just once I’d like to write a forecast with something other than mostly sunny skies and low 80s…maybe later this week. But for now, let the pleasant weather roll!
The Details
At this juncture, we still sit under the influence of a high pressure system off to the east of the region, which is keeping the weather pleasant and looks to make it pleasant…er.
The low in that position off to our east allows us to feel the effects of a nice southerly breeze, slowly warming us up and making the first week of October feel just awesome. Sure, you might need a light jacket heading out in the mornings but short-sleeves and shorts remain appropriate outdoor attire.
Today: Partly to mostly sunny skies with just some fair weather clouds to provide some window dressing out there. A high right around 80º with a light south breeze making it feel great out there. We’ll settle back down to around 60º at night with mostly clear skies.

Tomorrow…yep, you guessed it.
The high pressure will remain in a similar location and give us basically another day like today, if a touch warmer because of that south breeze, but trust me…that breeze makes it feel perfect outside, again, no complaints.
But you may notice some changes afoot just to our north and west…we’ll have to wait a little for said changes.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies continue to grace us with their presence, along with a light south breeze…again and a high…again near 80º. At night, expect a few more clouds overhead but otherwise around 55º for a low.

About that front ever so slowly approaching from the northwest, that’s finally going to make it’s approach late Thursday into Thursday night. At first, just a few more clouds in our direction on an otherwise similar day to the previous two but it could lead to a shower or two on Friday.
Thursday: A few more clouds but otherwise, similar to the past few days. Light south breeze and a high near 80º. A few more clouds filter in overnight on Thursday, we’ll fall back to around 63º.

The Bottomline
- The boring weather continues, but at least it stays nice.
- Pleasant weather continues through mid-week.
