Forecast Discussion

I can’t begin to describe how nice this week was for the most part. Other than Monday, we’ve had nice temperatures, low humidity and dry weather. We’ll get one more day before summer comes knocking on the door.

For today, we’ll see much the same weather as yesterday. Other than some patchy morning fog, sunny skies will be upon us once again. That’ll allow our highs to increase a bit more than the last few days but it’ll still be more than comfortable.

Today: A little bit of patchy fog possible in the morning, otherwise sunny skies. High in the upper 70s, close to 80º. Clear skies rule the night with lows around 60º.

  • Wake up: 🌤 62°
  • Lunch hour: ☀️ 73°
  • Afternoon plans: ☀️ 79°
  • Evening time: ☀️ 72°

The warmup starts on Saturday. If you have a pool, this’ll be a great weekend to put it to good use.

We’re going to be under the influence of a large ridge of high pressure.

High pressure dominates the weather (Aviation Weather Center)

This means winds switching around to the southwest increasing both the heat and humidity around the area. And this means the summer feel has arrived.

Ah, those mid-80s return. (Pivotal Weather)

The good thing about tomorrow is that the humidity won’t be too bad. While it will increase throughout the day, it’s still be relatively comfortable from a humidity standpoint tomorrow. Still warm, though.

Tomorrow: Sunshine remains but the afternoon high will be closer to 85º. Lows at night under mostly clear skies will be around 65º.

  • Wake up: ☀️ 62°
  • Lunch hour: ☀️ 79°
  • Afternoon plans: ☀️ 85°
  • Evening time: ☀️ 73°

Sunday, the humidity joins the warmup party.

Temperatures to round out the weekend will be similarly warm, if not even warmer than Saturday. But by the end of the day on Sunday, we’re going to be headed quickly for steamy territory.

That’s going to make a Sunday the worst day of the weekend for outdoor activities, even if it will be dry. Of course, if you have to be outside, make sure to wear sunscreen, take plenty of breaks and drink plenty of water.

Sunday: Sunshine remains but highs soar to near 90º in the afternoon with plenty of humidity. Nighttime lows will be a lot closer to 70º as well. Summer is here.

  • Wake up: ☀️ 73°
  • Lunch hour: ☀️ 85°
  • Afternoon plans: ☀️ 90º
  • Evening time: ☀️ 77°

Today’s Key Points

  • One more picture perfect day in store.
