Roller-Coaster Temperatures and Sunshine Return to the Forecast

Real-Time Radar

Yesterday’s Weather

Yesterday was another unseasonably mild day across Southern Kentucky. Here in Bowling Green we saw a high temperature of 66 degrees, that is 21 degrees above normal! If we could just continue to skip winter I wouldn’t be mad one bit.

Forecast Discussion

After a mild weekend like we had, it will be hard to top that again this week with a slight cool down on the way. Are we going to skip winter? I’d love to!

This morning, a band of showers continues to skirt eastward just to the east of Bowling Green at this time, but we will continue to dry out (finally!). Temperatures will start out in the mid fifties but will tumble throughout the day. We won’t see much in the way of sunshine either as overcast skies will be the case for much of today and tonight. However, hold on to your hats because it will get pretty gusty with winds out of the west howling at 13-16mph.

Tomorrow looks to be a pleasant but cool day. Sunshine and high pressure returns! We’ve been slacking on the vitamin D department here lately so definitely enjoy that sunshine while you can. Temperatures will still remain above average with highs in the low to mid fifties.

Wednesday, temperatures will bounce back once again nearing 60 degrees. Winds will pick up ahead of a cold front and will bring us much cooler temperatures along with it. Don’t stash away those winter clothes just yet, cold temperatures will return by the end of the work week.

Today’s Key Points
