Discussion
We are back to autumn like weather, and guess what that deserves? A GIF only forecast!!
I am way too excited that we are back to temperatures in the 50s and 60s, and I have been waiting for it for what feels like forever and a day. These next three days are going to be absolutely awesome, but they’ll each have their own interesting features.
Today has no strings attached. Its just gonna be awesome outside. We’re under the influence of a deep trough that is moving eastward, and we are currently sitting directly under northwesterly flow. This is keeping our skies relatively clear, our surface pressure high and our temps nice.
Thank you, northwesterly flow! Tomorrow will be a bit different, and will be pretty amazing in its own sense.
We are gonna start the day in the lower 40s, but our high will likely be in the mid to upper 70s. The reason this is likely to happen is because a quick mid level shortwave is forecast to propagate southeastward, forcing a surface low across the northern Ohio Valley. This will drag a cold front towards us from the northwest, and will orient our winds from the southwest. This southwesterly flow will likely spike temps into the mid 70s, so we could have a 30 degree temperature range in one day!
It’ll be a bit breezy tomorrow afternoon, but it’ll be a nice breezy. Not too windy, and not too warm either. Tomorrow’s weather looks great, overall.
Monday looks great too. When was the last time we had a three day stretch this nice??
I don’t know, nor do I care. I’m so exited about this forecast. Temps on Monday will be cooler than tomorrow’s forecast, but they’ll still be in the lower 70s. And another thing to get excited about (unless you have chapped lips): the atmosphere will remain pretty dry, so it’ll feel even nicer outside.
All in all, a great forecast period is upcoming.
Today’s Key Points:
- The weather looks amazing the next three days
- Cooler today with sunny skies
- Breezy tomorrow, with temps spiking into the mid 70s
- Warm on Monday
