Hot, Humid and Boring Bowling Green Weather to Continue

Real-time Bowling Green Weather Radar

Yesterday’s Weather

Yesterdays weather was just as I thought: hot and humid. Otherwise known as the worst weather imaginable. At this point, we have seen consistently sunny skies every day this week, and it is just weird. I need rain, or something that isn’t heat. I am tired of that. One thing about yesterday, I was (again) 2 degrees under on the high temperature. That is really frustrating!

Discussion

If I copied and pasted yesterday’s discussion into this spot, it would make as much sense with this forecast as what I am about to write will.

I’m not saying what I am writing is crazy; I am saying that this ridge has been dominating our weather for far too long. The weather this past week has been incredibly boring. The fact that I included a paint drying gif yesterday should say it all.

Well, you wanna know what will keep our weather essentially the same throughout the details? This ridge. The center of the ridge will generally be to our east today and tomorrow, giving us a better opportunity at seeing isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon of both today and Sunday.

I don’t think we see isolated storms on Monday, and that ends up being the only detail of this forecast that is different than any of the others. Highs all three days will be in the low to mid 90s. Overnight conditions will feature mostly clear skies and lows in the mid 70s.

Extended Outlook

The extended looks pretty interesting, as the pattern looks as if it may try to amplify a bit in the long range. The CPC has a higher probability that we see above average temps and below average precip.
