Real-time Bowling Green radar:
Today 4/8 – Cloudy with scat’d showers – High 55/Tonight – Mostly cloudy; Freeze Watch Issued – Low 32
Good Morning, Bowling Green! Colder weather is on the way, unfortunately. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the warm weather to come back. This cooler weather is the result of an upper-level trough exiting the eastern US and filtering in cool Canadian air with northerly winds at the surface.
A cold front will be moving through later today and we may see a few scattered showers ahead of this front. Much colder temperatures are in store for tomorrow and a freeze is definitely possible for tomorrow morning!
Saturday 4/9 – Sunny – High 48/ Saturday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 38
Once the cold front moves through overnight Friday, high pressure will begin to move in behind it. This will give us sunny skies, but northerly winds will only keep highs in the upper 40s. Brrr.
Saturday night winds will shift and become more westerly and eventually more southerly by Sunday. Low temperatures will occur earlier in the night with temperatures quickly rising by Sunday morning. Good news is Sunday will be much warmer than Saturday!
Sunday 4/10 – Partly sunny with chances of scat’d showers – High 68/Sunday Night – Cloudy with scat’d showers – Low 58
On a quick rebound, a warm front will be moving through Sunday and could possibly create some light scattered showers across the area. Overall, Sunday looks to be pretty decent with temperatures in the upper 60s (some places could see 70◦) and partly sunny skies.
Showers will continue into Sunday night with another cold front on its way for Monday. How about this rollercoaster weather?
Have a great weekend and continue to follow @WxOrNotBG for more updates!
