Warm, Wet Bowling Green Weather Continues

Today 3/13 – Scattered Showers – High 70° / Tonight – Isolated Showers – Low 58°

Rainy weather will continue to be the story today as an upper level low pressure system continues to track toward the region. Scattered showers will be possible throughout the day, decreasing in coverage during the evening hours. This will lead to highs right around 70°. A few isolated thunderstorms may also be possible across the region.

Showers will diminish to isolated showers tonight. Lows will be around 58°.

Monday 3/14 – Scattered Showers – High 70° / Mon Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 53°

The upper level low will move directly across the region on Monday. Although the system is rapidly weakening, I still expect there to be enough lift for scattered showers through most of Monday morning, decreasing in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be around 70° once again. We may get a nice break from the rain.

Monday night ill bring a break in the rain. In fact, partly cloudy skies seem likely as the moisture departs. Lows will be around 53°.

Tuesday 3/15 – Mostly Clear – High 79° / Tues Night – Isolated Showers – Low 50°

On Tuesday, a strong low pressure system will move to the north of the region. This will bring southerly winds to the region as we are placed in the warm sector of the low pressure system. Highs will skyrocket to the upper 70s, making a close run at 80°. Wind will be out of the south between 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 to 25 mph.

A few isolated showers may develop in the evening and overnight hours as a moisture-starved cold front moves through the region. Lows will drop to around 50°.
