Crazy Weather To Impact Our Region

Real-time BG Radar:

Today: Showers early, with mostly cloudy skies remaining. Highs rising to around 70ºF. Tonight: Cloudy and breezy, with rain chances increasing. Lows around 61ºF.

Well, yesterday was a real bummer. The weather was essentially the Monday of weather…on a Monday. That’s double the Monday.

Today, well, will be different. We are already feeling the effects of the low pressure system to our west as you’ll likely wake up to some light showers that will quickly move out of the area.

This will give way to deep and pretty strong southerly flow that will influence our weather for the rest of the day and into the night.  Even though it’ll be mostly cloudy, I do feel like the breaks in the clouds plus the strong southerly flow will result in relatively high temps, maybe making it into the lower 70s.

Additionally, winds will increase gradually throughout the day, much like Wednesday of last week. We’ll begin seeing some pretty windy conditions by evening time.

Overnight, the main rain band will be getting closer and closer, with clouds increasing, winds staying gusty and lows falling only into the lower 60s.

Tomorrow: Heavy rain early, with rain moving out by the afternoon. Cloudy. High around 63ºF. Tomorrow night: Gradual clearing. Lows falling to around 42ºF.

Well, a deep band of moisture will be moving through the region in association with the strong low pressure system moving to our northwest. Because of this, an area of heavy rainfall will be moving through the region during the morning hours.

After this passes through, however, we will see some drier air and some cooler conditions under cloudy skies. The highs will likely end up being in the low 60s, which will be hit around midnight. Overnight lows will fall into the low 40s under gradually clearing skies.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 58ºF. Thurs. night: Mostly clear, with a low around 34ºF

Well, this will be a nice relief to have after a few days worth of clouds.

The week have been cloudy almost the entire time, and having a Thursday full of sunshine is a nice prep for the weekend. A high pressure system will be building into the region, and keeping skies clear and temps cool across the region, likely not making it out of the 50s.
