Rainy Week Continues

Real-time radar:

Today: Cloudy, with rain showers most of the day. Highs will be around 62ºF. Tonight: Rain. Lows around 59ºF.

Hey, Patricia! Nice to see you. You were once a hurricane? Oh, well, you’re now a pretty solid extratropical cyclone! Give yourself a pat on the back.

In all reality, though, we are gonna be dealing with the remnants of Patricia over the next few days. Her ghost will be working its way northward, and will begin to deepen and phase with a stronger area of low pressure to its north later on.

For today, though, the weather is gonna be really bad. Its gonna be cool, rainy and dreary. Odds are that class will be hard for some. But for others, we’ll see rain boots galore.

The thick clouds will keep temps down in the lower 60s for most, and in the upper 50s for some. This requires that chili be made for dinner.

Overnight, much of the same will continue, as the rain will continues with lows falling into the upper 50s.

Tomorrow: Showers ending through the day. Highs around 65ºF. Tomorrow night: Clouds decreasing, with lows falling to around 47ºF.

Well, we will still be feeling the impacts that Patricia is leaving upon all of us, as the rain will continue into the early part of your Wednesday. This’ll be pretty evident when you’re getting the kids ready for school, or are heading to work, as the greatest coverage of rainfall should be in the morning.

This will be associated with the first of two fronts to impact the region. This one will swing on through, and will clear out the rain, and maybe even some cloud cover into the afternoon, which should allow for a nice little warm up.

The second cold front will swing through later in the evening, and should clear out clouds and rain chances, as it ushers in a drier air mass. Look for clouds to clear overnight, as lows fall into the mid 40s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with highs around 60ºF. Thur. night: Partly cloudy, with lows falling to 36ºF.

Thursday is gonna be an awesome fall day. I wish that was gonna be my day to fish this week, because it’s just gonna be amazing outside.

Because the low will be moving off to our north and east by Wednesday night, we will be left with awesome conditions left to come on Thursday. With high pressure settling, look for highs to reach just about 60ºF, and maybe a tad cooler.
