Today 6/27 – Isolated Showers – High 79° / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 60°

We’ll be waking up to a few isolated showers this morning. These are forming in response to the upper level trough moving through the region. These morning showers should clear out pretty quick. However, an additional round of showers may form in the afternoon. Highs will certainly be a treat, as they’ll struggle to reach 80°. It’ll certainly feel great out there!

Partly cloudy skies are in store for the region tonight as the showers quickly dissipate in the evening. Lows will be around 60°.

Sunday 6/28 – Mostly Sunny; Nice – High 81° / Sun Night – Isolated Showers – Low 63°

High pressure settles into under the influence of northwest flow across the region on Sunday. This will give us a mostly sunny day. Sunday will be the most comfortable day we’ve had in quite some time, so be sure to enjoy it! Highs will be around 81°!

A small “ripple” in the northwest flow will move into the region on Sunday night. This could be compared to as the summer equivalent to a “clipper” system. Isolated showers may form in the region as a response to this. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s.

Monday 6/29 – Partly Cloudy – High 84° / Mon Night – Isolated Thunderstorms – Low 68°

Monday will be a lot like Sunday, perhaps just a tad warmer. The aforementioned ripple will move to the north of the region, which will place us more in a southerly and westerly flow at the surface. This will help bump up the high temperatures a few degrees, up to around 84°. Partly cloudy skies seem to be a good bet as well.

The “ripple” to the north is actually now a weak area of low pressure. This will push a very subtle, weak quasi-cold front into the region on Monday night. Showers and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder may form in response to this. Lows will be around 68°.
