Flash Flooding Occurs Around Penn State University

So it seems Western Kentucky University isn’t the only university that deals with flash flooding during heavy rain events. The same storm system that may have woke you up last night brought heavy rain and severe weather to much of the northeast on Monday.

Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Watches extended from South Carolina to New York as strong storms initiated and moved east along a cold front. Several reports of hail and damaging winds were found across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Penn State University received hail and heavy rain, leading to flash flooding around the campus. Remember “Turn Around, Don’t Drown!”
