High pressure at the surface will keep southern Kentucky dry today with a high in the lower 60s this afternoon. Calm weather will continue tonight with lows falling into the upper 30s.

Tuesday 3/31 – Mostly Sunny – High 71˚ / Tue Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 45˚

Expect similar weather throughout the day tomorrow with temperatures making a run at 70º under mostly sunny skies.

Cloud cover is expected to increase a bit on Tuesday night due to a frontal boundary across the deep south. Most of the precipitation will stay south of the KY/TN border but a stray shower in southern Kentucky cannot be ruled out.

Wednesday 4/1 – Mostly Sunny – High 70˚ / Wed Night – Mostly Cloudy; Iso’d Showers Late – Low 57˚

Mostly sunny skies will return on Wednesday with high temperatures reaching 70° during the afternoon. Be safe if you decide to use the grill today, here is an example of what not to do:

Clouds will increase again on Wednesday night as precipitation from an area of low pressure far to our northwest makes it into the region. There is a slight chance southern Kentucky could see an isolated rain shower late.

Rain chances are expected to increase on Thursday and Friday and early indications illustrate another beautiful upcoming weekend for southern Kentucky.

That’s all I’ve got for this morning, enjoy the beautiful weather and be sure to keep up with @WxOrNotBG and @WarrenCountyWX on Twitter for real-time weather updates.
