While most roads in Bowling Green and the rest of south central Kentucky still look like this, another shot of snow is bearing down on the region. The road crews are putting in their overtime this week!

Impacts from snow tonight and tomorrow: Light snow will move through the area overnight and drop a general dusting to 2 inches across the region.  Scattered snow squalls are possible with a separate disturbance Wednesday.

Anyone who finds themselves impacted by these sparse, hit & miss squalls could pick up a brief heavy snow amounting to an additional dusting to 2″.  These snow squalls will not be fun.  Visibility will also be an issue Wednesday afternoon, thanks to winds howling at 20-30+mph out of the northwest.

Driving will once again be a slow go tomorrow morning, thanks not only to our ample snowfall on yesterday, but additional accumulations tonight.

Be sure to check back in for the afternoon update, which will be available around 3pm.  We’ll have a more detailed forecast regarding the snow tonight & tomorrow, along with another look at our record breaking low temperatures Thursday & Friday morning.
