Alaska is a Wee-Bit Cold

While winter is flexin’ its muscles with the blizzard in the northeast, bitterly cold temperatures are occurring over much of inland Alaska. Portions of the southern coast of Alaska is “relatively warm”. This is occurring because of split flow across much of Alaska. Southern portions of the state is under southerly flow. Meanwhile, northern Alaska is under the influence of northerly flow.
