Cold Temperatures This Morning

The first true cold air mass of the fall season has settled over a large portion of the United States and we saw some impressive low temperatures for early October overnight.

Check out the low temperatures across the state this morning from the Kentucky mesonet:

Temperatures dropped to 41º at both mesonet sites in Warren county and many locations in Kentucky saw readings in the 30s this morning. If you thought it was cold here, check out some of the low temperatures in the central U.S. Lows were in the 20s in some spots and few locations even saw some light snowfall.

We will see temperatures drop even lower across Kentucky overnight as a Frost Advisory is in place for our area.
