Tornado Warning Issued for St. Louis Area

Update: The tornado warning has been cancelled due to weakening rotation in the storm. No more updates will be added from this point forward. We will have to wait and see if day sheds light on any damage that may have occurred with the storm.

A strong thunderstorm has been tornado warned in the St. Louis, MO area. There was a velocity signature on radar just a few moments ago that would have been indicative of a potential tornado. I’ll be updating this post as needed as more information rolls in via social media. Here are a couple radar screenshots:
