6.0 Magnitude Earthquake Hits California

Shortly after 5am CDT this morning a 6.0 earthquake hit northern California, according to the US Geological Survey.  The center of the quake occurred near Napa, CA, with several citizens receiving damage.  Below is a map provided by the US Geological Survey that shows where the brunt of the earthquake’s impact was felt:
