Friday is shaping up to be a great day with regards to the weather; mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures will be the theme for the day with high pressure keeping the atmosphere stable and calm. Tonight is looking great as well, cooling and calm conditions after dark with clear skies. A good evening to be out if you get the chance.

Saturday – 7/12  Mostly Sunny – High 93º / Saturday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 70º

Southerly flow returns to our area on Saturday which will help to enhance warmer temperatures and increased moisture values. Dewpoints look to approach 70 degrees with highs in the low 90s, a bit uncomfortable as compared to Friday. The good news is that the weather should remain tame for the day, just skies increasing in cloud cover. A great day to get in the water!

Saturday night looks good with temperatures falling to around 70 degrees and partly cloudy skies. Another good night to venture outside.

Sunday – 7/12  Mostly Sunny – High 95º / Sunday Night – Iso’d Showers & T’storms – Low 74º

The last day of the weekend will be our first decent chance of precipitation with our next approaching system to our northwest. Strong southerly flow and sunshine will support temps in the low to mid 90s across the region with the very isolated chance of shower or storms. Sunday evening and night will bare increasing precipitation chances as a frontal boundary will approach from the northwest. Shouldn’t be a huge deal as most of the activity remains north of our region. Monday, however, rain and storm chances increase as these dynamics move into the Ohio Valley. Hooray for Monday right? Here’s NAM suggested radar for 11pm Sunday night, clearly illustrating the frontal structure:

Overall, get ready for a great weekend folks, warm temperatures and sunshine will be most dominant over the next few days. Big changes come into the start of the next work week.
