Tuck and roll, gang…It’s all downhill from here!

Today – Partly Sunny, Scat’d AM Showers – High 63 / Tonight – Mostly Clear – Low 42

7am 45 ~ 10am 56 ~ 1pm 60 ~ 4pm 63

Lingering moisture will keep scattered showers in the forecast this morning, with the majority of us remaining dry, under partly sunny skies through the afternoon. Best chance at seeing the wet stuff will be through 10-11am.

Highs will struggle to top out around 60 degrees. The temperature model below is valid for 1pm this afternoon, and supports this forecast:

Keep the warm clothes out, friends, fall is officially here.  Clear skies and calm winds overnight may give us a touch of light frost.  All of you plant lovers please plan accordingly.

Fri – Partly Sunny – High 68 / Fri Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 45

Rays of sunshine will return to the forecast for another day, with light southerly winds allowing highs to rebound to near 70 degrees.  A very nice day to end the work week on.

Sat – Partly Sunny – High 62 / Sat Night – Clear – Low 40

Moisture will make itself available in the atmosphere as a weak cold front works across the region. With that being said, forcing looks to remain well to our north. We can’t rule out an isolated shower, however, partly sunny skies should accompany the vast majority of south central Kentucky. This front will provide another shot at cool air, limiting highs for the weekend to around 60 degrees.

That will be all for the morning update, folks. I shall return this afternoon with another update on our weather pattern.
